- Understand the impact of an industrial site on the local fauna
- Identify simple solutions that can systematically be used to measure local biodiversity near an industrial site
- Evaluate biodiversity characterization methods that are currently proposed by the scientific community. Determine if these solutions can be used and are reliable in an industrial setting.
- Study the feasibility of a new bioacoustics and artificial intelligence tool in order to simplify biodiversity qualification studies.
After a literature review, Wavely has created a large database of bird songs from the Parc du Marquenterre bird park in Northern France. This database will allow for the assessment of the reliability of bioacoustic indicators and their ability to monitor animal biodiversity.
