Personal and property safety is a major challenge for the state, communities, private domains or even for manufacturers.

Today, this theme is mainly covered by video surveillance, but our acoustic surveillance technologies provide a complementary solution, in particular:

A few numbers:

Security at the national level includes the security of citizens but also of the environment. Citizen safety includes civil security covered by fire and rescue services but also criminal acts covered by the police and the national gendarmerie. The safety of goods and people therefore includes numerous use cases.

Since 2010, there have been more than 4 million interventions per year by civil security services, i.e. one intervention every 7.3 seconds. Among all these interventions, there were 238,000 traffic accidents in 2020. With regard to delinquency, the majority of offenses and offences identified by the national police and gendarmerie services are concentrated in regional capitals and cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants. These crimes include home burglaries (approximately 200,000 per year), personal assault (approximately 300,000 per year), vehicle theft (approximately 120,000 per year), sexual violence (approximately 70,000 per year), sexual violence (approximately 70,000 per year), and violent robberies (approximately 65,000 per year). Conversely, the majority of crimes committed in rural municipalities correspond to attacks on the environment (around 30,000 interventions per year) and in particular the illegal exploitation of forests or mines.
