Use case

Industrial maintenance

Predictive maintenance is now a major challenge in Industry 4.0, to optimize costs and avoid impromptu production stoppages. Several modalities are used for the monitoring of industrial equipment, in particular vibration, thermography or the analysis of production data. However, these methods each have their limits and many recognize the potential of acoustics. In the industry, many operators also identify equipment malfunctions “by ear”. Indeed, a noise is often a harbinger of a future anomaly or even a problem with the safety of the industrial site, such as during a gas leak for example.

Our aim is to provide a solution of acoustic monitoring of industrial equipment allowing:

  • To alert in case of hardware failures
  • To follow manufacturing processes
  • To be used for quality control (e.g. engine noise at the end of the chain)
  • To monitor areas that are difficult or complicated to instrument by detecting deviations from normal operations (failures, abnormal processes, leaks (air, gas,...).

These tools thus make it possible to reduce downtime and optimize the operation of installations.

Acoustic data is formatted and sent to your information system to help you make the right decisions.

On request, we also adapt our solutions to your needs (integration of new events, remote updates, redirection to the client platform, etc.)
